A very warm welcome to Watergall Primary School.
Watergall is a family of learners which I am very proud to lead. Our school motto is
‘Aiming High, Including All.’ We believe that every member of our school community is important. Each child is known and valued for who they are so that they will thrive academically and socially. We treat one another with kindness and respect: this sits at the heart of all we do.
High expectations of all, strong pastoral care, good behaviour and aspirational focus on raising achievement are key to ensuring that everyone within school achieves their best and is happy. We have a fantastic team here: children who enjoy their learning and behave well; staff who guide your children to be good learners and make progress through a creative curriculum; governors who help lead and manage the school strategically; and of course, you as parents and carers who support your children and the school so well.
We have excellent links with the local community including managing Watergall Children and Family Centre which includes a pre-school, health visitors, SEN base and community advice and support services. We have a team of staff in school who can work with you and your children should you need extra support, including an Inclusion Manager, Family Support Worker and School Pastoral Chaplain.
If you are considering Watergall for your child we hope that this website will give you a flavour of what we can offer but we do encourage you to visit us too. If you already have children with us, we hope that it will give you regular, up to date information. Please do visit your child’s class page and the galleries to see what they have been learning.
We very much welcome you coming in to school to talk to us and aim to share lots of positive things about your child’s learning with you. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, please share these with us. Your child’s class teacher is usually the first person you will need to speak to but you are welcome to request an appointment with a senior member of staff. Partnership between home and school are key to your child being the best that they can be which is our shared goal.
